Dining out is integrated on Alipay via Koubei, one of Alibaba’s investments, while WeChat Pay offers similar service via Dianping invested by Tencent. Bill splitting, offer discounts and coupons, restaurant ratings.

Other services:

Alipay can handle a lot of tasks such as booking doctor appointments, checking social security information, filing for tax, paying at gas stations, traffic tickets, and mails.

Travel:

Alipay has a direct connection with Airbnb and Uber, and Alipay is connected with Didi Chuxing. Hotels, flights and train tickets. Alipay also incorporates with global shopping sites and international airports to create convenient way for travelers to pay without need of exchanging currency.
